When directed, internet service providers must make family friendly filtering available at no more than cost, disable it on a verified request from a customer aged 18 or over, and ensure it blocks only unlawful content while leaving bona fide scientific, medical and health information accessible; they may use information obtained through filtering about a customer's browsing or communications only to implement the filtering. They must comply with any Ministry mandatory filtering scheme against child pornography, and both internet and hosting service providers must report to Tonga Police, within a reasonable time, webpages, sites or IP addresses they have reasonable grounds to believe host child pornography.
