Ice used in processing, as a processing aid or as an ingredient meets 11.5.3.1 (11.5.4.1); purchased ice comes from an approved supplier, is included in the food safety risk assessment and arrives in suitable containers, cleanable where they are reused, with testing where appropriate (11.5.4.2); rooms and receptacles for ice use materials meeting 11.1.2 and are designed so that contamination is minimised while ice is stored, retrieved and distributed (11.5.4.3).
