What does 18 require?

Every supplier of a dangerous substance to an establishment issues a safety data sheet with the substance and provides basic information for training on its use and handling. On being informed under regulation 16(2) of an emerging or potential major incident involving the substance, the supplier informs all clients supplied with it of the emerging dangers, and in a major incident involving the substance the supplier keeps information and advice available around the clock to every duty holder, the local government concerned and any other body involved.
