Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (SOCI) s24: Notify notifiable events and correct register information within 30 days

A reporting entity must give the Secretary notice of a notifiable event and the required information, in the approved form, within 30 days after the event: any event that makes previously given operational or interest and control information incorrect or incomplete, an entity becoming a reporting entity, or a reporting entity becoming an entity to which the Act applies. The responsible entity corrects operational information; each direct interest holder corrects its interest and control information. No notice is needed if a second notifiable event within the 30 days makes the first update incorrect (evidential burden on the entity). The rules may exempt entities or classes (s 27).
