Despite any other law, a service provider complies with any written request, direction or requirement of the Attorney General for access to any part of its network, services or related information for national security or the prevention, detection or prosecution of breaches of Samoan law, and provides the facilities and capabilities needed at its own expense, though it may ask the Regulator for an order on substantial additional expense (69). Government authorities' access to confidential customer information or communications is exercised under the laws of Samoa (51).
