Regulation on the European Health Data Space (EHDS) 72: Trusted health data holders: assess requests within two months and provide the secure environment

Article 72: Member States may designate health data holders as trusted if they can provide access through a compliant secure processing environment, have the expertise to assess applications and give compliance guarantees, with regular review; for requests covering only their data, the trusted holder assesses against the Article 68 or 69 criteria and sends a proposed decision within two months, the access body decides within two months and is not bound, and the trusted holder then provides access and prepares the data.
