If a product it placed on the market does not conform, the manufacturer must take corrective measures to bring it into conformity or withdraw it, inform the competent authorities of the Member States where it was made available with details of the non-conformity and measures, and keep a register of non-conforming products and related complaints; on a reasoned request it supplies the supervising bodies all information and documents, including in Portuguese, proving conformity, and cooperates in any action to remedy non-compliance, notably by bringing products into conformity.
