Portugal Accessibility Requirements of Products and Services Decree-Law (Decree-Law No. 82/2022) A14-2: Document, retain, renew and notify reliance on the exceptions

What does A14-2 require?

Operators document the assessment and keep the results for five years from the last time the product or service was made available, supplying a copy on request of the market surveillance or service conformity authorities; microenterprises in the product sector need not document but must supply the relevant information on request. Service providers relying on disproportionate burden update the assessment for each category or type of service when the service changes, when the conformity authorities ask, and at least every five years. Operators other than product-sector microenterprises must inform the supervising authorities of the Member State concerned when invoking an exception for a specific product or service.
