NSA Guidance for Transition to Quantum-Resistant Cryptography P-EVAL: P-EVAL Products protecting NSS evaluated or validated under CNSSP 11 or NSA guidance; NSA-approved solutions for classified data

Protection depends on more than the algorithms: each NSS must use NSA-approved solutions to protect classified or otherwise sensitive data, and the quality of the implementation and of the supporting public key and key management infrastructures matters as much. Products acquired to protect NSS cryptographically must therefore be evaluated or validated under CNSSP 11 or other NSA guidance.

What else in your programme already covers this

This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

  • IMPL Use evaluated, production-ready implementations and track implementation weaknesses

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
