New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) 17.1.53.C.01: 17.1.53.C.01 Encryption for reduced handling needs uses approved algorithms

When agencies apply encryption so that storage or physical handling protections can be lowered, the encryption must use an approved cryptographic algorithm inside an encryption product evaluated at EAL2 or higher.
