New Zealand Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003
Part 1A: Lender responsibilities – New Zealand Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003

New Zealand Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003 9J-9L: Publish standard form contract terms and all costs of borrowing on the website and at business premises

What does 9J-9L require?

A lender using standard form contract terms must make them publicly available: displayed prominently and clearly on its website if it has one, available at business premises accessible to the public, and provided free on request. Every creditor must likewise publish the full costs of borrowing for each class of consumer credit contract it offers, including its credit fees, default fees, annual interest rates and default interest rates, on its website, at its premises and on request. Business premises are given an extended meaning for mobile traders.
