What does 3.3.5 require?

Before a change is introduced the organisation must evaluate its impact on OSH, whether the change is internal or external, and take appropriate preventive steps. Hazards must be identified and risks assessed at the workplace before anything is modified or before new methods of work, new materials, processes or machines are brought in, and when a change decision is carried out every affected person in the organisation must be properly informed and trained.
