LEED v4.1 - Green Building Rating System (US Green Building Council) LTc8: LT Credit: Electric Vehicles

What does LTc8 require?

1 point; applies to all eight BD+C adaptations. Install Level 2 or faster EV supply equipment in 5% of spaces (at least two), reserved for plug-in vehicles, meeting connector standards (SAE J1772 or IEC 62196) and ENERGY STAR connected criteria so that it can respond to time-of-use signals; or make 10% of spaces (at least six) EV-ready with a dedicated circuit, conduit and wire for Level 2 ending in a box near each space. Schools may plan for electric or low-emission buses (NOx 0.50 and PM 0.01 g per bhp-hr within seven years) and 50% electric other vehicles; warehouses may electrify a yard tractor or connect 50% of dock doors or truck spaces to cut idling.
