Kenya ICTA-8.003:2023 Cloud Computing Standard 8.5: Govern maintenance and versioning transparently

What does 8.5 require?

Maintenance of cloud services is subject to governance practices transparent to the MCDA and documented in the SLA, which lets the customer report problems and request fixes and lets the provider notify pending maintenance changes and their schedule; services are labelled so the version in use (including component versions such as the operating system level in IaaS) is clear and a new label is given whenever maintenance occurs; and where significant changes are made between versions the older version stays available in parallel for an agreed period.
