ITU Radio Regulations and Space Security Standards RR15.I: RR Article 15, Section I: Interference from radio stations

What does RR15.I require?

All stations are forbidden to make unnecessary transmissions, superfluous signals, false or misleading signals, or signals without identification except as Article 19 allows (15.1); transmitters radiate only the power needed for satisfactory service (15.2); sites, directional antennas and equipment are chosen to avoid interference and the space station cessation rule of No. 22.1 is met (15.3 to 15.7); special care protects distress, safety and flight-safety frequencies (15.8); classes of emission and occupied bandwidth are chosen to minimize interference (15.9); out-of-band emissions should not interfere with adjacent-band services, and interference from spurious emissions requires special measures (15.10, 15.11). The Bureau reads No. 15.1 as the Regulations' rule against deliberate interference to space services.
