Italy Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, amended 2018) Art. 116: Art. 116 Patronage institutes: access benefit bodies' databases only within the worker's mandate and consent

Patronage and social assistance institutes may, within the mandate given by the data subject, access the databases of bodies paying benefits, for types of data specifically identified with the data subject's consent; agreements between the institutes and the bodies follow guidelines set by decree of the Minister of Labour.
