Operators document the assessment and keep its results for at least five years from the last making available of a product or last provision of a service, supplying a copy on request of the ministry or the authorities of the Member States concerned; microenterprises dealing with products need not document but must give the relevant facts if the ministry asks. A service provider relying on disproportionate burden renews the assessment when the service changes, when the conformity authorities request it and in any case at least every five years. Operators other than microenterprises invoking an exception for a specific product or service inform the competent surveillance or conformity authorities of the Member State concerned.
