The DEFR considers gathering non-digital evidence. The team leader finds out who looks after the premises and equipment on site, who may supply passwords and other details, and the DEFR records that person's name and role. The DEFR may also take information from people with relevant knowledge, such as the system administrator, device owner or users, for example on system configuration and administrator or root passwords, which may help the later analysis; responses are recorded accurately so the statement cannot later be altered, and the jurisdiction's rules on gathering such evidence are known and followed.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
