ISO/IEC 27034-2:2015 Application security, Part 2: Organization normative framework 5.4.7: Improving the ONF

What does 5.4.7 require?

The organisation performs the improvements identified by monitoring, evaluates whether elements need redesign or new elements are needed and documents and feeds those needs to the design process, manages the changes through its change and configuration management, and records, documents and communicates each change stating why it was made, what it aims at, which security requirements it serves, what it consists of and how it will be checked. The aim is an ONF that is usable, fit for purpose, sufficient and effective, filling gaps caused by environmental change, and alignment with the ISMS. Auditors verify that improvements were performed, redesign needs documented, changes recorded and communicated, and changes properly managed.
