The provider ensures facilities appropriate to operating each scheme, and that environmental conditions do not compromise PT activities, including work at remote sites or by external service providers. It documents the conditions capable of influencing the validity of PT items and of any measurements or tests, including those required by specifications and methods (sterility, dust, electromagnetic disturbance, radiation, light, humidity, power, temperature, sound, vibration as relevant), controls, monitors and periodically reviews them, records the monitoring, and halts activities when conditions compromise validity. Access to and use of areas affecting PT activities are managed to an extent the provider determines, and incompatible activities in neighbouring areas are separated, with action taken against cross-contamination, interference and adverse influence.
