The organization keeps processes for getting ready for, and responding to, the potential emergencies identified in 6.1.2.1: a planned response including first aid, training for that response, periodic tests and exercises, evaluation and revision after tests and especially after real emergencies, communication of duties and relevant plans to every worker, information for contractors, visitors, emergency services, authorities and where appropriate the local community, and account of what every relevant party needs and can do, including individual evacuation plans for people with disabilities or limitations and their involvement in developing the response.
