The organization keeps processes to remove hazards and bring risk down through the hierarchy of controls: remove the hazard; substitute less hazardous processes, materials or equipment; apply engineering controls and reorganize work; apply administrative controls such as procedures, training, awareness and signage; and provide suitable personal protective equipment that protects effectively and fits each worker. A note encourages combining controls from several levels. Controls must take account of worker diversity, and PPE needed to work safely must be supplied to workers free of charge.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
