Top management must show leadership of the OH&S system: policy and objectives set and aligned with strategy, the system built into business processes, resources available, the value of managing OH&S well communicated, intended results achieved, people directed and supported to contribute, continual improvement promoted and other managers supported in their own leadership. It carries overall responsibility and accountability for stopping work from causing injury or ill health, for safe and healthy conditions and, newly, for promoting work-related well-being. It must also build a supporting culture, see that worker consultation and participation processes exist, support health and safety committees, and encourage reporting of incidents, hazards, risks and opportunities while protecting reporters from reprisal. ISO 45009 is cited for leadership guidance.
This control maps to 2 controls across 2 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 2 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
