ISO 30414:2018 - Human Resource Management: Guidelines for Internal and External Human Capital Reporting 4.5.1: Internal and external reporting

Guidance that reporting on human capital, inside and out, reveals what value the organization places on its workforce and what lasting value it offers stakeholders. Internal reporting gives staff, managers and workforce representatives (unions, works councils) a clear and open view of human capital opportunities and challenges, which they can also use with outside parties; external reporting shows what the workforce can do and is worth to those with a legitimate reason to invest in, fund or commit to the organization or to what it may become. Table 2 sets out, by type of organization, which metrics the guidance recommends for internal use and which for external disclosure.
