A person responsible for each confirmation review of Table 1 and of the safety plan shall be appointed per 5.4.4 and 5.4.2.7 and shall provide a report containing a judgement of the work product's contribution to functional safety; confirmation reviews shall be completed before release for production and may be judged against the achievement of the standard's corresponding objectives, covering correctness, completeness, consistency, sufficiency and content; assistants of at least I1 independence may support a review with the reviewer evaluating their input, and confirmation reviews may be combined with verification reviews where the required independence is kept.
