Enough waste containers of adequate capacity are provided, emptied at suitable intervals and kept clean. Containers and areas holding waste, by-products and material that is inedible or dangerous are made of materials suited to the waste, can be cleaned, are designed against pest infestation, are clearly identified and used only for their purpose, and sit in designated areas. Where product could be contaminated they are secured and closed whenever not in immediate use.
