AIM and PIM are the structured stores of information used for decisions over the entire life cycle. They hold structured information (geometry, schedules, databases) and unstructured information (documents, media), with physical sources cross-referenced. Most projects begin with an existing asset and should make use of the asset information that already exists. Relevant information moves between AIM and PIM when a project starts and when it ends. The information is valuable to every party in an appointment, and also to regulators, investors and insurers. The concepts should be applied in proportion to how large and complex the asset or project is.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
