The cleanroom or clean zone counts as meeting its specified class when the average particle concentration measured at each sampling location, in particles per cubic metre, does not exceed the limit from Table 1 for each considered size, or the limit derived under Annex E where intermediate classes or sizes are used. Any out-of-specification count is investigated, and the result of the investigation and the remedial action are noted in the test report.
