The verifier or validator and client shall agree the scope at the beginning, including at minimum the boundaries, the facilities, infrastructure, activities, technologies and processes, the SSRs, the GHG types and the time period; for statements containing reductions or removal enhancements the scope shall also include material secondary effects (leakage), baselines for verification and baseline scenarios for validation.
