ISO 14064 - Greenhouse Gas Accounting and Verification (Parts 1-3) 2:6.7: 6.7 Quantifying GHG emissions and removals

What does 2:6.7 require?

The proponent shall select or establish criteria, procedures or methodologies for quantifying emissions and removals of the selected SSRs and quantify them separately for each relevant GHG for each project SSR and each baseline SSR (aggregation in CO2e only where it meets the intended user's needs and the method); establish and apply criteria to assess the risk of reversal (permanence); and where factors are used, select or develop emission or removal factors from a recognised origin, appropriate to the SSR, current at quantification, accounting for uncertainty and yielding reproducible results, and consistent with the intended use.
