Clauses 6.2 to 6.17 list the topics to weigh for inclusion in a plan. Documented information the users need may sit inside the plan or, where it exists elsewhere such as on an intranet or extranet, be cited or linked electronically. Further topics may be added to suit the nature and scope of the case. If a customer asks for particular topics or a particular structure, the plan should be written to match. A plan should address the 6.2 to 6.17 topics as far as they are relevant; some will not apply, for example where no design and development is involved.
