KO requirement 2: the product safety system rests on a risk management or HACCP system that is fully implemented, systematic and comprehensive; food is covered by HACCP built on the Codex Alimentarius principles. The hazard analysis spans every process within the company's responsibility that could affect product safety, including the presence or risk of GMOs and allergens for food; it is grounded in scientific literature or technically verified specifications for the goods and procedures concerned; and it is reviewed once a year and whenever processes change significantly. Plus module: HACCP covers every treatment activity, product development and the conformity of primary packaging, and the legal requirements of the countries of production and destination are taken into account for treated products.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
