Clause 6: Key roles in age appropriate engineering project teams – IEEE 2089-2021 Age Appropriate Digital Services Framework

IEEE 2089-2021 Age Appropriate Digital Services Framework 6.2.4: Child Rights Advocate

What does 6.2.4 require?

The Child Rights Advocate stands in for the children who will use the system, directly or indirectly, while working alongside the functionally minded members of the design team. The role brings a child's rights perspective to the product or service, aiming to embed age appropriate values and to settle conflicts in children's best interests, and speaks for stakeholder groups, children among them, that cannot sit in project team meetings themselves.
