The organization documents a process, with criteria, for evaluating how suppliers perform, so that externally provided products, processes and services conform. As a minimum it tracks: conformity of delivered product to requirements; disruptions caused at the customer's receiving plant, such as stop ships and yard holds; performance against the delivery schedule; and how often premium freight occurs. Where the customer supplies them, it also tracks special status notices tied to quality or delivery issues, and warranty, dealer returns, recalls and field actions. As revised: SI 19 (August 2020): item d), occurrences of premium freight, is removed from the required supplier indicators, because premium freight is a customer-satisfaction measure under 9.1.2.1 and an internal supplier metric.
