Equipment, containers and surfaces touching water or food are not a source of contamination; food contact equipment is designed to be cleaned, drained, inspected and maintained, is smooth and accessible, compatible with product and chemicals, free of holes and bolts in its frame, has cleanable pipework without dead legs and has impervious, corrosion-free surfaces. Forklifts and trolleys are clean and do not emit contaminants. Manufacturers' instructions are followed. A documented planned, preventive and corrective maintenance program exists, with a hygiene clearance step after every maintenance job, and failures and building defects that matter to food safety are logged and assessed so the program improves.
This control maps to 2 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 2 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
