Fair Labor Association (FLA) Workplace Code of Conduct H/A.10: Gender-appropriate, non-intrusive security searches

What does H/A.10 require?

Security practices respect gender and are not intrusive, so that the dignity of anyone searched is preserved; checking bags and personal belongings as a theft-prevention measure is allowed; pat-downs and body searches happen only for a specific, legitimate reason and with the worker's agreement (unless ordered by an authorised state official), never in public, and only by someone of the same sex.
