FAA AC 20-152A - Development Assurance for Airborne Electronic Hardware IP-7: IP-7 DO-254 Appendix B for COTS IP at DAL A and B

COTS IP in DAL A or B hardware satisfies DO-254 Appendix B. Where safety-specific analysis is chosen (code coverage may not be possible inside IP), it identifies the safety-sensitive parts of the IP and potential IP design errors that could affect DAL A or B functions, determines for unmitigated aspects the additional requirements, design features and verification needed, and feeds them back to the appropriate process.

What else in your programme already covers this

This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
