EN 50126 / EN 50128 / EN 50129 - Railway Applications RAMS 50129:C.3: Procedure for integrated circuits

What does 50129:C.3 require?

For integrated circuits including microprocessors the credible failure modes include any stuck-at or open on any pin, a short circuit between any two pins and internal failures affecting any function of the device, so that the analysis does not rely on assumptions about the device's internal structure unless justified.
