EN 50126 / EN 50128 / EN 50129 - Railway Applications RAMS 50129:C.2: General procedure

What does 50129:C.2 require?

The credible failure modes of every hardware component used in a safety-related function are identified for the fault analyses of Annex B by the general procedure: each component type is considered against the failure mode categories (stuck-at, open, short, drift, and for integrated circuits a short between any two pins) and the modes that cannot be excluded are carried into the single- and multiple-fault analyses.

This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
