Anyone planning to export any quantity of a Schedule 1 chemical to another CWC State Party (whether licensed by Commerce or, under the ITAR, by State) must notify BIS at least 45 calendar days before export (3 days for 5 mg or less of saxitoxin for medical or diagnostic use), separately from the licence application, identifying the company and contact and giving the chemical name, structural formula, CAS number, quantity in grams, planned date, end use, recipient name and street address, licence number if known and company identification number; BIS then states the earliest shipment date, and the licence must still be obtained. An annual report of all such exports in the previous year, with the same details and the licence number, signed by a responsible party certifying accuracy, is due by 13 February.
