An acceptance test shows a manufactured, modified or repaired product performs to the key attributes of the certified unit, chosen by engineering judgement as indicative of meeting its requirements; it need not verify every requirement on every unit and may use sub-item tests. The document covers setting acceptance criteria, including pass/fail conditions, which should identify electrical tests and, where needed, environmental screening, and cover the design aspects needed to meet safety requirements; safety-related items or sub-items not covered by the test are identified and assured by other means (analysis, design control, statistical process control).
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
