DO-254 / ED-80 - Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware 5.2.1: 5.2.1 Conceptual design objectives

Conceptual design produces a high-level concept (block diagrams, architecture descriptions, board outlines, chassis sketches) that can be assessed for its potential to meet the requirements. Its objectives are a conceptual design consistent with the requirements, derived requirements fed back to requirements capture or other processes, and omissions and errors passed on for resolution.
