DO-254 / ED-80 - Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware 5.5.2: 5.5.2 Production transition activities

Manufacturing data should be derived from the configured design data and checked for completeness and consistency with it; changes or improvements made in transition are evaluated against all product requirements, especially safety, with non-compliant changes approved by the relevant parties; safety-related manufacturing requirements are explicitly defined so production can control them; the data needed to develop acceptance test criteria is determined; and omissions or errors are passed on for resolution.
