If a notification is made, the Board may ask about the processes and policies the practitioner follows and the information sources used to guide practice, may ask how the practitioner meets the Board's standards, codes and guidelines, and may inspect the place of practice; the Board takes regulatory action where needed to protect the public from infection transmission. The practitioner keeps the records needed to answer those questions.
