Competition and Consumer (Consumer Data Right) Rules 2020 4.20U: Rule 4.20U: representatives remind consumers every 90 days that consents are still current

For each current consent given to a representative, once 90 days have passed since the latest of giving or amending it, the consumer last using the principal's dashboard, or the representative or principal last notifying that it is current, the representative must notify the consumer, in accordance with the data standards, that it is still current. A failure makes the principal liable. Until the data standards made for paragraph 8.11(1)(fb) take effect, the pre-2024 form of the rule continues (rule 507).
