Part 4 Division 4.3A: Consents given to CDR representatives – Competition and Consumer (Consumer Data Right) Rules 2020

Competition and Consumer (Consumer Data Right) Rules 2020 4.20J: Rule 4.20J: provide withdrawal channels and give effect to withdrawals within 2 business days

A consumer may withdraw a consent given to a representative at any time through the principal's dashboard or by a simple communication to either the principal or the representative. The principal must make a simple alternative method available (civil penalty) and so must the representative; whichever receives a withdrawal must tell the other as soon as practicable; and the principal (civil penalty) and the representative must each give effect to a non-dashboard withdrawal as soon as practicable and within 2 business days. Withdrawal does not affect a deletion election.
