The accredited person must give the consumer a notice that complies with the data standards as soon as practicable after the consumer gives, amends or withdraws a collection, use or disclosure consent (civil penalty). Until the data standards made for paragraph 8.11(1)(fa) take effect, the rule as in force before the 2024 Measures No. 1 Rules continues to apply (rule 503).
