An accredited person may invite a consumer to amend a consent only through its dashboard (where the dashboard allows amendments) or in writing directly to the consumer, and only where the amendment would better enable it to provide the requested goods or services or would follow an agreement with the consumer to modify them and enable the modified service. Invitations to extend the consent period must not be given earlier than a reasonable period before expiry, and not more than a reasonable number of times within that period.
