The enterprise works with every relevant stakeholder to coordinate how I&T services and solutions reach the business from start to finish. Changes and transition activities (project and change plans, schedules, release policies, known errors, training and awareness) are coordinated and communicated, and so are operational activities, roles and responsibilities, including request types, hierarchical escalation, planned and unplanned major outages, and what service reports contain and how often they appear. It takes ownership of responding to the business when a major event might affect the relationship, giving direct support where needed. An end-to-end communication plan sets out what information about service delivery is shared, how often and with whom, including the value delivered and any risk identified.
