Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework
Chapter 3.2.4: Influencing business partners – Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework

Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework 3.2.4-a: Influencing business partners: responsible sourcing, value chain collaboration, integrity, labour rights, logistics partners, downstream protection

What does 3.2.4-a require?

Responsible Care reaches beyond the site fence: partners who do not share the leadership culture become a risk to the whole chain's reputation, so the organisation integrates suppliers into its business system and pushes partners to improve on HSEE&S. Processes are put in place for business integrity, responsible sourcing, labour rights, collaboration along the value chain, assessment of logistics partners, and protection of downstream users' data and property, each with a four-level maturity path.
